The past two weeks, my broadcast technology class has spent a lot of time in the TV studio. I got the chance to experience each different job and learn how everything is done. One of my favorite jobs was anchoring, where I learned that it takes skill and practice to be a good anchor. I also realized that there is somewhat an art to it, from talking slowly to smiling, even when it feels awkward. In addition, I learned a lot when I was in charge of audio. Looking at the soundboard was daunting, but I quickly got the hang of it and learned how to change volume, mute things, etc. I learned a lot working in the studio.
